Abstract

|
A case of dermatomyositis in an eleven year old girl with typical picture of violaceous eyelid lesion, together with dermato-skeleial manifestation and febrile episode is presented with a brief review of literature. While in exacerbations with multiple episodes of hospitalization, she developed. a stormy course of severe hepatic involvement with impending hepatic coma, however, responded,
to prednisolone treatment, now being in remission for over 2+ years.
